Happy Birthday Tager!
The day started off with a request of squirting him with a water gun to wake him up. Yes, he is the one that said he wanted us to do that to him. And then an special order of crepes for breakfast. Yum! After he was all ready for school I told him he could open up ONE gift. He chose the box that had the DC shoes in it! (Tage picked them out with Grandpa Gary the week before. So he already knew what it was) He then instantly put them on and was off to celebrate his birthday at school.
After school he opened all but one gift. I told him he had to save one for after dinner and when we sing Happy Birthday to him again, for the hundredth time....
His birthday stash included golf clubs, (thank you garage sales) Nintendo DS games, (thanks again, to a great garage sale) black football pants, an "exercise" shirt, 5lb weights and money, money, money!
Of course by the end of the day, as any kid would say, that they "don't want that day to end and it is the best day ever." That is exactly what Tage said and we put him to bed.
