Emmry survived her first road trip. She did awesome! We only stopped once, but it worked out great because it was our dinner time too!
We loaded up late afternoon last Thursday and came home on Sunday. A perfect time away. Tage was able to spend time with his 'other Mom' and Ty, Emmry, Zeus and I just hung out (yes, we had to bring Zeus! He is part of our family too ya know!). We got to the hotel really late on Thursday so Friday morning Tage met up with his other Mom. He painted a pumpkin, watched movies, and played the wii probably more than he should have. But hey, I'm just sayin'.
On Friday Ty and I walked along paved trails, took a short hike, got Cafe Rio for lunch (a must have when we are in Utah) and just hung out in the hotel room. Saturday we boarded Zeus at doggie camp for the day so we went to the Dinosaur Museum, took a tour of Brigham Young's winter house, ate at the Pizza Factory (their bread sticks are to die for!), walked around the Temple grounds and through the visitor center, took a walk and just relaxed. Perfect!

Overall we had a great weekend! The weather was overcast and drizzly the whole time. Nice and refreshing if you ask me, I completely enjoyed it! I was nice to get away for a short time.
