Demolition Derby

The derby is probably the top highlight of the whole 24th of July celebration. Tickets are sold about a month before. You basically camp out in line the night before to get tickets. No joke! They are ALWAYS sold out the first day.

If you happen not to get tickets (like we all did this year because nobody was available to go down to Fairview to get them that day) there are always people selling them a couple hours before it starts. Just not guaranteed you will get seats all together.

Tyson and his Dad went 2 hours before it started and manage to round up enough tickets for all those that wanted to go. We were just all scattered apart in groups of about 4-5. Still, it was so fun.
