It has been a rough football season. The team wasn't a good team, and that is putting it nicely. We lost every single game. Only scored 2 touchdowns, that's it. (one of which was by Tage on the first game) Grrrrr. I got to the point that I really didn't even want to go to the games because they were just too frustrating to watch and boring. The kids just didn't even want to play. Tage even got worse as the season went on. So frustrating. We even upped his incentive from $5 a touchdown to $10. Nope, that didn't work. We were really hoping that this team was going to be good for him. He was one of the best kids on the team and we thought that he would become the "star player" and his confidence would just sky rocket and he would love it. Well, it went to complete opposite way. He actually took a step back and wasn't trying as hard. He is definitely a follower. Needs someone else to look up to, not him as the star.
You learn as you go. We will be taking Fall season off, but hopefully Winter season he will want to get back into it.
