Horse Race

I have never been to a horse race and was really excited to go! So today we got all cowboyed up (if that really is a word) and headed out to Turf Paradise to watch a little racing action happen.

Tage watching them show off before they race. This was the time to take a good look at what horse you wanted to bet on.

Ty placed 2 bets on 2 different races. We bet on #9 (horse named Who's Aleyna) to win on the 3nd race and #2(named Kokopelli Wind) to win on the 4th race. (their was 10 races today, we didn't stay for all of them) Too bad we lost on both races which completely wiped out our checking account that whole $10! But we still had fun!

Just a note for you Ty, don't quit your job and come to the race track everyday. We will definitely not be winning any money the way you play. Still love you.

And to top off our horse racing day we came home to watch the 134th Kentucky Derby! Apparently horse #8 (Mind That Bird) was the underdog. It was an amazing race. He came flying through from about 10th place up to first and just put the others completely in the dust!(or should I say mud) He won by a long shot! I can't remember what horse Ty had bet on with this race, but he lost, again.
