But maybe I should skip the dish soap and go straight to the rinse cycle to avoid all the soap in his eyes. He hasn't quite got the hang of the part when I poor water over his head to rinse the soap out that he should close his eyes. Or second thought, maybe I should just stick with the regular bathtub. It seems to be working just fine for me.

Agreed! It is funner that way anyway. At least that is what we think at our house. Water gets everywhere but we love it!
